Print Inspiration:
Our first original print, The Lilibridge Pineapple was born from the tasty memories of sipping Pina Coladas from the original Blue Bar at the famed Pink Sands Resort in Harbour Island, Bahamas. Surrounded by hues of blue from walls to sea to sky, blue was the natural choice for the design. It is also Vanessa’s favorite color. Besides being a key ingredient in a Pina Colada (apart from rum, of course), the pineapple also holds history in New England with its symbolic meaning of welcome and friendship. The Lilibridge Pineapple is a product of two loves, the Bahamas and Boston.
All print designs begin with an original sketch or painting and end with a hand-screen printing technique.
