About Us
Papers & Presents owner, Carolyn McCoy, started her stationery business in
1988 while living in Beacon Hill and working full-time in downtown Boston.
Initially she carried albums in the trunk of her car and pulled them out at
every opportunity to sell stationery, invitations, and birth announcements.
Today, almost 23 years later, she is the owner of a very successful store in
Wellesley, Massachusetts. Raised in southern Virginia, Carolyn's inspiration for
the business came from an adorable stationery store in her hometown of
Martinsville, Virginia (thank you, Janice). The staples of the business are the
wonderful paper products - the personalized stationery, the irresistible
invitations and the adorable birth announcements. The "Presents" part of Papers
& Presents, however, is comprised of very unique custom gifts. Clients come from
all over the greater Boston area to visit Papers & Presents. Much of our
business is word of mouth referrals. Additionally, great relationships have been
built with our large base of repeat customers. Through the years, Carolyn has
consistently been recognized as one of the top dealers in the country. After
